Indian Air Force Recruitment Rally 2020-21 be conducted. The Defence organization has issued a recruitment notification 2020 asking applications from eligible candidates. To fill in vacant positions, a rally for Indian Air Force jobs 2020-21 be conducted.
Candidates can apply online to attend the recruitment rally from 27 Nov 2020 to 28 Nov 2020 05:00 PM.
Qualification
Eligible candidates having 10th, 12th qualifications and desired fitness can take part in the recruitment rally.

Medical Standards
(i) Chest: Minimum range of expansion: 5 cm
(ii) Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
(iii) Corneal Surgery (PRK/LASIK) shall not be acceptable.
(iv) Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear forced whisper from a distance of 6 meters with each ear separately.
(v) Dental: Should have healthy gums, good set of teeth and minimum 14 dental points.
(vi) General Health: Candidate should be of normal anatomy without loss of any appendages.
He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin ailments. Candidate must be physically and mentally FIT to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.
Medical Examination.
Candidates who qualify Adaptability Test -2 shall be medically examined in the month of October 2020 at SMC, 17 Wing Air Force, Gorakhpur. Medical examination shall be conducted by air force medical team as per IAF medical standards and existing policy in vogue. Medical Examination would also include baseline investigation of: -
(a) Blood Haemogram - Hb, TLC, DLC
(b) Urine RE/ME
(c) Biochemistry:- (i) Blood Sugar Fasting & PP (ii) Serum Cholesterol (iii) Urea, Uric acid, Creatinine (iv) LFT- Serum Bilurubin, SGOT, SGPT
(d) X- Ray chest (PA view)
(e) ECG (R)
(f) Tests for Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substance Abuse (if required).
Sequence Of Examination
Group ‘Y’ (Technical) {except Education Instructor) Trades
(a) Physical Fitness Test (PFT). PFT consists of a 1.6 km run to be completed within 6 minutes 30 seconds. Candidates shall also have to complete 10 push-ups, 10 sit-ups and 20 squats within the stipulated time to qualify in the physical fitness test. Note: Candidates are advised to bring their sports shoes and shorts/track pant.
(b) Written Test. All candidates who qualify PFT shall under take written test on the same day or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. The written test will be objective type and question paper shall be bilingual (English and Hindi) except for English paper. Answers are to be annotated on OMR sheet. Detailed procedure shall be explained before conduct of examination. Duration of written test will be 60 minutes and shall comprise of Physics, Maths and English as per 10+2 CBSE syllabus. CANDIDATES ARE TO QUALIFY IN EACH PAPER SEPARATELY.
(c) Marking Pattern for Written Test:- (i) 01 mark for every correct answer. (ii) Nil (0) marks for un-attempted question. (iii) 0.25 marks shall be deducted for each wrong answer or choosing more than one option as answer.
(d) Adaptability Test-1. All candidates who pass the written test shall undertake adaptability test-1 on the same or subsequent day depending on the local conditions. Adaptability test - 1 is to assess suitability of a candidate for employment in the IAF which involves deployment in varied geographic terrain, weather and operational conditions.
(e) Adaptability Test-2. All candidates who pass adaptability test-1 will have to undertake adaptability test-2 as per policy in vogue. Adaptability test-2 is to select candidates who can adapt to the environment of Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.
Pay Salary
During training, a stipend of ₹ 14,600/- per month shall be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Military Service Pay (MSP) pay shall be ₹ 26,900/- per month plus Dearness allowance (as applicable) which, in subsequent years, may rise as per the career progression of the individual.
Selection Process
On the basis of Written Exam.
Verification of Eligibility. Original educational certificates (10th passing certificate and 12th passing certificate & marks sheets) OR three years diploma course passing certificate and marks sheets of all semesters and other required applicable original documents like NCC ‘A’, ‘B’ or ‘C’ certificate, son of serving air force personnel (SOAFP) certificate (or) discharge book, service book, service particular certificate/casualty service certificate (or) discharge certificate (if discharged from Army/Navy/government organisation), consent form (signed by parents if candidate below 18 years of age) and passport size colour photographs shall be required and scrutinized/verified at the examination venue prior to commencement of physical fitness test to ascertain the eligibility prima-facie. Detailed verification will be carried out later in respect of candidates who pass physical fitness test and subsequently the written test. Candidature of those who do not meet the laid down educational criteria shall be rejected during Initial verification of original certificates & mark sheets prior to conduct of physical fitness test and also during detailed verification on clearing the physical fitness test as well as written test or if found at subsequent stage

Pre-Registration for the rally will start at 1100 hrs on 27 November 2020 and will close at 1700 hrs on 28 November 2020 on web portal www.airmenselection.cdac.in. In view of COVID-19 restrictions and consequent testing constrains, limited candidates can be tested. In case of over subscription, shortlisted candidates based on merit [percentage (%) marks obtained in Intermediate/ 10+2/ Equivalent examination/Vocational course (as applicable)] would be issued with provisional admit cards. Only candidates issued with provisional admit cards are allowed to appear in recruitment rally.
